As Meals on Wheels Montgomery County prepares for its highly anticipated fundraising  event, A Night in Nashville, the organization proudly announces its esteemed  committee chairs. This year’s event promises an unforgettable evening of music,  community, and support for a vital cause. Dr. Marshall B. Lucas and Destiny Lucas,  alongside Jason and Meredith Sirkel, will lead the committee, bringing their dedication  and passion to the forefront. With their combined expertise and commitment to  community service, they will help ensure the success of this event, which is crucial for  supporting Meals on Wheels’ mission to care for Montgomery County’s senior  neighbors.

Dr. Marshall & Destiny Lucas

Dr. Marshall B. Lucas and Destiny Lucas, esteemed owners of Family Psychiatry of The  Woodlands, have been pioneering mental healthcare in Montgomery County for over 25  years. As a double-board-certified psychiatrist and renowned research leader in  psychiatric pharmaceuticals, Dr. Lucas brings unparalleled expertise to the field. Destiny  Lucas, a licensed professional counselor, compliments his work with her dedication to  patient care. Together, they have established the largest private psychiatric practice in  Texas, with Dr. Lucas boasting over 30 years of private practice experience.

Additionally, Dr. Lucas serves as Medical Director at Woodlands Springs Psychiatric  Hospital, an acute care facility. The Lucas family is distinguished by their commitment to

innovative treatments and strong therapeutic relationships, solidifying their position as  leaders in psychiatric care.

Inspired by Meals on Wheels’ profound impact on Montgomery County’s aging  population, the Lucas family has become a strong supporter of this vital organization.  Having recently experienced the loss of all four of their parents, they deeply understand  the importance of caring for our elders and maintaining their connection to the  community. This personal experience has further strengthened their appreciation for the  essential services provided by Meals on Wheels.
