Deliver Meals

Delivery Opportunities

Just One Hour Can Have a Lasting Impact on the Lives of a Dozen Seniors

Each weekday our Meals on Wheels program delivers approximately 600 lunches to homebound seniors in Montgomery County. These deliveries also serve as a safety check and social visit – often the highlight of the senior’s day. We could not do this without the generosity of community volunteers and donors like you!

Weekday Delivery

Fight senior hunger on your lunch break! Volunteers pick the meals up at 10:30am from various distribution points throughout Montgomery County, depending on the route assignment. You can choose to deliver the same route each week, or become a substitute driver and choose delivery dates that fit your schedule.

Saturday Delivery

If you have more time on the weekends, we need your help too! Breakfast Bags are delivered on the 1st and 3rd Saturday each month. Choose the date and route that fits your schedule – registration is on a first come first serve basis. Volunteering for Breakfast Bag delivery is a great way to get involved with your friends and family too!

How to Become a Meal Delivery Volunteer

Depending upon the route, delivery takes between 1 – 2 hours. If weekday and / or weekend delivery interests you, please complete the meal delivery volunteer application. Lisa will then reach out to schedule your Volunteer Orientation, which includes a background check.
