Home Delivered Meal Requirements
Requirements to qualify for Home Delivered Meal Service are below*.
The applicant must meet all the following criteria to qualify:
- Reside in Montgomery County
- Be 60 years of age or older
- Must be homebound- this means that the applicant must have difficulty leaving their home unassisted on a regular basis
- Be unable to drive
- Have physical or mental impairments that makes meal preparation difficult
- Must be able to accept meals during assigned delivery timeframe
Client Must NOT:
- Be living with a caregiver or family member (other than spouse)
- Have a caregiver/provider authorized to prepare meals for them

HOW TO APPLY FOR MEAL DELIVERY
If you or your loved one are in need of our services, please follow the steps below to apply.
Contact our Intake Coordinator, Stacy Cornett 936.271.2183 and leave a detailed message with the following information:
- Today’s date
- The potential client’s full name, date of birth, zip code and contact number, and
- Your name and contact number (as the person referring the potential client).
A client liaison will return your call within 10 business days. An over-the-phone assessment will be given to determine eligibility. For those who qualify for meal delivery, an in-home assessment will be scheduled (alternative options available due to COVID-19).
